There comes a time in life when special
care is needed. The Meadows provides full service nursing care in
a comfortable, natural setting. The care provided at The Meadows goes
far beyond expectations
from the beautifully designed facilities,
to outstanding medical care from highly skilled professionals, to
the variety of life-enhancing therapies and activities. Residents
at The Meadows enjoy a quality of life intended to meet their every
need. We offer independent living as well as several levels of nursing
care.
Often, residents of a nursing facility are apart from their normal
routine and away from daily contact with family. Therefore, it is
especially important to tend to their emotional and intellectual needs
the
need to be active, the need to connect with other people, the need
to feel valued. At The Meadows, we are particularly sensitive to the
wishes of every resident to live a full, useful and happy life.
The levels of care offered at The Meadows Services include,
but are not limited to the following:
Harpeth Meadows offers four different single-family floor plans for Independent Living. These homes are offered in two and three bedroom models designed with no elevated steps. The home features solid oak cabinetry, grip bars in both baths, electric garage door openers, emergency call system, and full landscaping and lawn care.

Residents in the Residential Home for the Aged enjoy
the privacy of their own spacious furnished room, knowing that The
Meadows staff is helping them stay as independent as possible. Each
private room has its own bath and may be shared with a spouse or relative,
if desired. Residents in RHA must be ambulatory and continent. They
must be independent with transfers, bed mobility, and able to ambulate
with assistive devices.

The Meadows Nursing Center provides quality nursing
care in an elegant home-like environment. Spacious, semi-private or
private rooms are easily personalized with pictures, lamps and other
items, helping residents stay comfortable and cheerful. We also care
for residents who are memory-impaired. The Meadows staff is aware
of this and is careful to protect residents' dignity and privacy.
The memory-impaired unit has special features designed to meet the
needs of this population with its own activity center.
In the Nursing Center, we provide round-the-clock
nursing care to meet even a resident's most extensive needs. There
are scheduled activities throughout the day, and residents are encouraged
to participate and stay active to maintain a meaningful life.
